Get in my closet / Heidi Merrick

Holy smokes. If I had Heidi Merrick’s Spring 2012 collection, I think I would be pretty much set for life. I particularly enjoy all the bright yellows and camels, hot pinks, and oranges. My favorite look by far are the bright colour block dresses, I want em both. This is just half of her collection (my favourites are shown below). See more at Heidi Merrick’s .

Come on Spring! / Madewell 2012

I’m kind of longing for Spring already and I say this every time the west coast winter is really at full force, which is pretty much now. I have the sniffles to prove it. I’m also longing for Spring because of all the upcoming season’s collections popping up everywhere, reminding me of warmer days. At the moment, I’m liking Madewell’s pretty pastels, bold colour blocking, and the 70s but modern vibe in their Spring 2012 lookbook and I’m kind of stoked that I can check out the store now since I live in the US.

Here’s a peak of my favourites. See the full lineup here.

The Home of Bri Emery

I have been kind of a fan of Bri Emery’s every since I discovered her blog, DESIGN LOVE FEST about 6 months ago. Her loft was recently photographed by the talented Bonnie Tsang for Rue Magazine and I was pretty excited to see the behind the scenes of this busy blogger. Her eclectic home is vibrant, youthful, and whimsical and it’s definitely reflective in her fashion and design sense. I want her closet and if I had an iPad, I would want that case. See more from this photo shoot + behind the scenes video here.

Outfit Inspiration: Sequins

Perhaps it’s just the holiday glittery-ness that has be going crazy for sequins lately. I never keen about them but lately I have been finding myself lusting over chic outfits that involve black or gold sequin pieces, particularly something as simple as a zip wallet/clutch.
